About us

The international conference on Development and Modernization of Manufacturing (RIM) is a biannual event organized by the Faculty of Technical Engineering, University of Bihać. Since its inception in 1997, the Faculty has successfully hosted 14 iterations of this scientific conference in four different countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Egypt and Montenegro. The primary aim of the Conference is to bring together a diverse group of international scientists, engineers, industrialists, and experts providing them with an exclusive platform to exchange innovative ideas and share the latest advancements across various fields of engineering.

Conference language

English and BHS languages are working languages of the Conference. Abstracts and full papers must be submitted in English only.

Note to the authors

The Proceedings with abstracts (ISSN: 2566-3257) of all accepted papers will be printed and distributed to all conference participants. Furthermore, negotiations are currently underway for the publication of selected papers from the fields of mechanical engineering, wood products engineering and design, electrical engineering and computing, and technologies and structures in civil engineering in the IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering. This Conference Series is indexed in Conference Proceedings Citation Index (Web of Science), EI Compendex, and others (https://iopscience.iop.org/journal/1757-899X).

Accepted papers not selected for publication in the IOP Conference Series will be included in Electronic Proceedings (ISSN number: 2566-3283) that will be made available on the conference website and the website of the Faculty.
